Catching up Feat. TOO FACED liquified long wear lipstick review

6:26 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Hello! It's me! Haha
Sorry I'm freaking addicted to Adele's Hello.
Anyway, i'm back again after a few weeks of being MIA.
It has been a rather busy week for me. Intern life is driving me crazy. I thought i was going to have fun, but Nah ah... I swear i would rather go back to my studies...

This week was the worst week ever for me, not only because of intern... I have interim report submission which are due in 3 days time. (Luckily i took an MC on Thursday – should have used that one day to rest – but i put all my energy in the interim report and i was able to submit it yesterday.)
Well now i regret for not resting, I'm suffering from really bad cough and insomnia. Yeah, i have overworked my body. If i were to tell you guys what i do in the office, you guys would go Why-the-fk-are-you-doing-that-shit?

But to think of it again, if i were to rest, i will not be able to get my interim report done by this weekend. Thankfully, it's all over.
Now i can enjoy my weekend, do a little bit of shopping, plan for my party, afternoon nap to catch up on my lack of sleep..
And even go for my eye brows appointment after SO LONG to fix that ugly caterpillar...

Enjoying a cup of hot vanilla while writing and waiting for my mom to get her brows done.

My current favourite lip product from Too Faced.
Thanks to my friend Irna for introducing this lipstick, it's one of the best lip products i have ever use.

I've actually been eyeing on this product every single time i visit Sephora, but i just didn't lay my hand on this baby.
Until one day i saw a familiar packaging popping out from Irna's pouch, and she told me this lipstick is her favourite and started complimenting on the colours and how long lasting it is.
And i got really excited to try them on too. So i got myself a first liquified lipstick from Too Faced in Melted Coral.

No kidding guys, this product is amazing. It's not like the usual lipstick, the applicator is similar to lip gloss, it's so soft that i can glide it on my lips very easily.
The colour is beautiful, it's so pigmented and long lasting.
It doesn't wear off easily even after a meal. Seriously, i don't even need to reapply after eating. It's perfect for busy ladies who do not have the time to take out their mirror to touch up their lips.

At first i thought since it is liquified the product will be sticky. You know like some lip gloss that gets sticky when you apply them on your lips as if you're apply a layer of glue on your lips, disgusting as hell.
IT'S NOT STICKY AT ALL! Hallelujah!!!

Man... Why didn't i meet this baby earlier?
Did i mention it tastes really good too? Hahaha

Will definitely explore more colours and add them into my lipstick collection.

Xoxo

Celebrating her birthday - Timbre @The Arts house

12:34 AM Unknown 0 Comments

This was from 2 weeks ago! But i was so busy with work and outings that i couldn't find a time to settle down and just focus on blogging. And this day was when we took lots of pictures. So uploading the pictures already take quite sometime, not to mention choosing the pictures, we all look so good in all the pictures i had a really hard time choosing which to include in the post.

Before we went to timbre, 3 of us went to get yh's balloon. She loves helium balloon so much, according to her, BALLOONS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN US. So if we didnt get her any, we can expect her sad face throughout the night. So we got her a really pretty one. XD

Take a picture before it goes to yh's hands. HAHA. One of my fav candid photo taken by Ky when we are in the CQ tunnel.

Yay she was really happy to see us :)
Jy made oreo cheesecake for her! So jealous!!
Our birthday girl looking gorgeous that night.
TIMBRE @ The Arts House :)

We shared 2 large thin crust pizzas.
Roasted duck.. Half timbre seafood and Half hawaiian bbq.
Hawaiian bbq was really delicious, and seafood tasted great too with a tinge of spiciness. But i prefer the roasted duck one. It has this unique taste that is indescribable, you just have to taste it on your own. It's either you will really like it or you will think it taste weird, like how Ky and Jy said it tasted really strange to them, while Yh and I really enjoyed the roasted duck one.
Of course, not to forget my frozen margarita in Lime, which i called it lime juice. Hahaha.

We spent almost an hour taking selfie with my camera that night.

 SNM. I wanna go.............
I actually stood in the middle of this road to take a picture, but it was a fail shot.. The lamp posts kinda ruined the picture, and we couldn't really stay in the middle of the road for too long. Cars tend to speed at this area.

To end off....
 Happy birthday my dear <3

Little Diner

11:28 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Public holiday will only filled with joy when you spend time with the people you love. Had dinner at Little Diners located @Bukit timah. Thanks Ws for making the reservation and driving us there. Ever since he got his DL we have more chances to explore more cafes located far from our usual hang out place.

Happy to see Plum again after don't know how many months...
Tuesday Dinner Specials Menu
We stared down on the menu for 10 minutes, couldn't decide what to get because everything sounds tempting when you read the menu out loud.
That's a real stalk of rose.
Ws ordered American Buttermilk fried chicken. At first i thought i would be weird with maple syrup drizzled on the skin. But after he offered me a bite, i totally went Wow.....
Sophia ordered the Version 2 Mac and Cheese Royale. This dish is amazing guys, because it's truffle Mac and Cheese. It's freaking delicious. Those who really love truffle i would totally recommend this dish. It's not heavy although it's rich in flavour. Next time when i come back here i promise myself to order this.
Plum ordered the Mikey's Fish and Chips. I don't fancy eating fish and chips but this dish was really well seasoned and battered. And the chips was awesome with the skin on, it will be even better if it was made crispier.
Ray ordered their feisty Aglio Olio with tiger prawn. The moment the plate were placed on our table, we could smell the aroma of garlic and olive oil (My favourite). This particular dish makes you hungrier as you eat more. Even Ray who was always picky with his food was satisfied with this pasta.
The last to be served was my oven roasted chicken roulade. It's actually on the Tuesday Specials menu, i was contemplating between this and pork burger, i'm glad i didn't make the wrong choice because this dish was the best. Freaking love the whipped potato, i don't know if it's just me but i could taste truffle from the whipped potato. As it melt in my mouth, ha.ha. I melt too. And the red wine mushroom sauce totally compliment the roasted chicken because it taste heavenly. For $23, i think it's worth the price, although the portion was not that big, but it's filling.
At first, Ray told me we were going for Indian Cuisine, i was excited because i thought they chose Indian because that day was Deepavali. But i'm so glad we went Little Diner instead.
Screw you guys thou, i thought we were eating Nan and Curry.

Oh and during that time we met this youtuber called Nathan Hartono? He looks cute :)
Till next time Little Diner, will visit you again!

TGIF Feat. Jingwen's

3:03 PM Unknown 0 Comments

After we got separated for 3 weeks, finally found a day when we can catch up and also celebrate our baby Jingwen's birthday. XD

We went to this Persian Cuisine restaurant/bar at CQ, one of the reason why we went it's because of the drinks and shisha. I remembered i have been here before with my family for a business meeting with Pak Awal and the food wasn't bad, i know they serve really good kebab.
But since we've already eaten Steamboat at TanYoTo so we decided to just get Erdinger and
Yeap. Double Apple and Grape flavours

When you're exhausted after work, TGIF party and drinks are all you need.
Speaking of Erdinger it's my first time drinking it, it tasted better than most of the beers out there <3. But of course, nothing beats my favourite Corona extra.
Despite we have like project charter due on that day, it was still a great night being able to go out and chill with them like this.
And Happy birthday dear Jingwen. Stay awesome and pretty babe Muacks <3
