Little Diner
Public holiday will only filled with joy when you spend time with the people you love. Had dinner at Little Diners located @Bukit timah. Thanks Ws for making the reservation and driving us there. Ever since he got his DL we have more chances to explore more cafes located far from our usual hang out place.
Happy to see Plum again after don't know how many months...
Tuesday Dinner Specials Menu
We stared down on the menu for 10 minutes, couldn't decide what to get because everything sounds tempting when you read the menu out loud.
That's a real stalk of rose.
Ws ordered American Buttermilk fried chicken. At first i thought i would be weird with maple syrup drizzled on the skin. But after he offered me a bite, i totally went Wow.....
Sophia ordered the Version 2 Mac and Cheese Royale. This dish is amazing guys, because it's truffle Mac and Cheese. It's freaking delicious. Those who really love truffle i would totally recommend this dish. It's not heavy although it's rich in flavour. Next time when i come back here i promise myself to order this.
Plum ordered the Mikey's Fish and Chips. I don't fancy eating fish and chips but this dish was really well seasoned and battered. And the chips was awesome with the skin on, it will be even better if it was made crispier.
Ray ordered their feisty Aglio Olio with tiger prawn. The moment the plate were placed on our table, we could smell the aroma of garlic and olive oil (My favourite). This particular dish makes you hungrier as you eat more. Even Ray who was always picky with his food was satisfied with this pasta.
The last to be served was my oven roasted chicken roulade. It's actually on the Tuesday Specials menu, i was contemplating between this and pork burger, i'm glad i didn't make the wrong choice because this dish was the best. Freaking love the whipped potato, i don't know if it's just me but i could taste truffle from the whipped potato. As it melt in my mouth, ha.ha. I melt too. And the red wine mushroom sauce totally compliment the roasted chicken because it taste heavenly. For $23, i think it's worth the price, although the portion was not that big, but it's filling.
At first, Ray told me we were going for Indian Cuisine, i was excited because i thought they chose Indian because that day was Deepavali. But i'm so glad we went Little Diner instead.
Screw you guys thou, i thought we were eating Nan and Curry.
Oh and during that time we met this youtuber called Nathan Hartono? He looks cute :)
Till next time Little Diner, will visit you again!
