Etude House Color Lips-fit Review

Hi! I'm going to share with you one of my favourite lip product from famous korean make up store Etude House.

Etude House always never fail to impress me with their lip products, especially their pink and coral shades.

One of lip product i specially recommend from them is the Color lips-fit.
As you can see the colors are really captivating. They have shades from light pink to coral to hot pink and orange. 
 
These are the 3 colours that i owned which i personally picked from local store.
From left to right its #PK003 (Fantasy Fit Pink), #OR203(Live fit Orange) and #PK002 (Silhouette Fit Pink).


Previously, before i actually bought Color-lips fit, i actually used the Pop Stick lipstick from Etude house as well, and the colour i have picked, yes of course its pinkish coral. And it's the best lipstick i have ever used, i absolutely love the colour and texture. It's matte but applies really well. 
When i was about to get my second pop stick from the store, they told me Korea has stopped producing pop stick. Oh my god, why??? Why do they have to torture me? The number 1 EtudeHouse pop stick fan??

And ever since then, i have treasured my last stick a lot.. I only use it once in a while. Actually they still sell it on taobao or ebay, but i don't trust those kind of online shop, because they may sell replica...

But Etude House has produced an even better lip product which i really really love - Color lips-fit.

 The applicator is similar to lip gloss. At first i thought it is lip gloss, which kind of give lips a shiny" finish. But i was wrong. This product gives a matte finish. Oh my goodness, this lip product is so smooth, when you apply, it glides on your lips very easily. And you only need to glide it once because it is really pigmented. It is different from other lip product such as lip tint when it kind of make your lips appear chapped. This product doesn't chap your lips as much as lip tint. The texture is powdery, when i say powdery, it really does feel like you are applying powder on your lips, but trust me it's soft and not disgusting like some lip gloss which makes your lips feel sticky. This product 101% not sticky at all. 
And after you apply the lip product, you can instantly see how much it brighten you up. 
Oh! And not only it serves as lip product, you can actually apply it on your cheek to serve as blusher!

It costs SGD15.00, reasonable price for Korean make up store.

One trick before applying this lip product is that, you can apply lip balm as a first base on your lips. Lip balms can actually make your lips moist so when you apply lipstick on it does not chap your lips.

I'm currently using NIVEA watering lip balm in lavender. One of my favourite lip balm, smells really pleasant too.
 
Another trick to before you apply Color Lips-fit is to apply lip concealer first. Actually before you apply any lipstick, you can actually put on lip balm, concealer then lipstick. It's like how you would first put moisturizer, primer then BB-cream/foundation on your face.  

Lip concealer will conceal your actual lip colour, so when you apply the lipstick, the colour will look more vibrant. And lip concealer also can be used to create a gradient effect.

I'm currently using Innisfree Lip Concealer. Moisturising and soft. 

For gradient effect look, there's actually tutorial which can be found in youtube channel, such as PonyMakeup and Bubzbeauty. If there's request maybe i will post a tutorial for gradient effect.

For more info, visit Etude House official website. But if you are buying a lip product, it is best to go down to the store yourself to try on every colours that captivates you. Since you don't know if the colour fits you.

Tanzania (Starbucks coffee)

I don't drink coffee often, but once in a while i do crave for it.
I'm a coffee person, but my body can't take caffeine well, I feel sleepy and my gastric doesn't feel well when i drink, so i have no choice but to only drink once every week when i miss the taste.

Just like most people, i love Starbucks coffee.  

Every single time, i would order green tea frappucino.
Till i got bored of it... 

  

Staring on the menu in dilemma, i had a hard time ordering. 
Till the counter girl, asked me if i wanna try Starbucks Reserved coffee. Why not? So she helped me choose a fruity one called Tanzania. 

It has a fruity aroma, it's slightly different from the black roasted coffee i smelled before, but this coffee has a sweet smell too, probably because it says there's blackberry flavour too. 

  

I've actually ordered an iced Tanzania with milk, but they have also provided me the original hot black Tanzania to try, together with a tiny pieces of red velvet cake to complement the taste of the coffee.



After i had a sip of the hot Tanzania, in my mind i'm like, oh man, i should have ordered the hot black Tanzania instead, because it taste really really good. Acidity wise is medium, and taste a little citrus-y. 
No wonder, because it has lemony acidity. 
As for the Iced Tanzania with milk, it's not like normal latte which i have to like mix with lots of sugar syrup. 
But for this coffee, i only poured like a tea spoon of sugar syrup, and it taste great already!
Trust me, it's really good.

It's Shinta here :) 
I've decided to start writing life stories again.

Why matte coral? 
I really love the colour coral, to the extent that almost all of my lipstick collections are in the colour coral. 
My lips suits coral a lot, and I love how whenever I put on coral lipstick, people will comment that I look like Korean. 
Haha! And matte because I prefer that than rouge.
